In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Kannoje Pahadsingh of BJP won in this seat defeating Kamal Waskale of INC by a margin of 11,843 which was 6.4% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 48.33% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Champalal Devda of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Tersingh Devda of INC by a margin of 25,332 votes which was 16.09% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 55.62% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Champalal Dewda of BJP won this seat beating Kamal Vaskle of INC by a margin of 10,981 votes which was 10.31% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 44.43% in the seat.
