In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Jajpal Singh 'Jajji' of INC won in this seat defeating Er Ladduram Kori of BJP by a margin of 9,730 which was 7.03% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 47.48% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Gopilal Jatav of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Jajpalsingh Jajji of INC by a margin of 3,348 votes which was 2.62% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 43.82% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Engineer Ladduram Kori of BJP won this seat beating Gopal Kaul of INC by a margin of 21,019 votes which was 24.16% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 48.25% in the seat.
