In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Kamlesh Jatav of INC won in this seat defeating Neha Kinnar of IND by a margin of 7,547 which was 6.04% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 29.89% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Satyaprakash of BSP emerged victorious in this seat beating Banshi Lal Jatav of BJP by a margin of 11,288 votes which was 10.16% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BSP had a vote share of 44.62% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Kamalesh Jatav of BJP won this seat beating Satya Prakash of BSP by a margin of 3,927 votes which was 4.92% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BSP had a vote share of 36.52% in the seat.
