In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Mukesh Rawat of INC won in this seat defeating Nagar Singh Chouhan of BJP by a margin of 21,962 which was 14.08% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 52.6% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Chouhan Nagarsingh of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Sena Mahesh Patel of INC by a margin of 17,369 votes which was 13.18% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 51.98% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Nagarsingh Chouhan of BJP won this seat beating Mahesh Kumar Rawat (Patel) of INC by a margin of 3,242 votes which was 3.49% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 39.75% in the seat.
