In the 2019 Haryana Assembly elections, Shishpal Singh of INC won in this constituency beating Rajinder Singh Desujodha of SAD by a margin of 19,243 votes which was 14.42% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Balkaur Singh of SAD was the winner in this seat beating Shishpal Keharwala of INC by a margin of 12,965 votes which was 9.65% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Charanjeet Singh of SAD won this seat defeating Dr Sushil Kumar Indora of INC by a margin of 12,544 votes which was 10.82% of the total votes polled for the seat.
