In the 2019 Haryana Assembly elections, Kanwar Pal of BJP won in this constituency beating Akram Khan of INC by a margin of 16,373 votes which was 09.59% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Kanwar Pal S/O Chandan Singh of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Akram Khan of BSP by a margin of 34,156 votes which was 20.61% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Akram Khan of BSP won this seat defeating Subhash Chand of INC by a margin of 4,328 votes which was 3.35% of the total votes polled for the seat.
