There were a total of 3,21,159 registered voters on the electoral rolls for the 2024 Assembly election in Faridabad NIT Assembly constituency, of which 1,77,619 were male, 1,43,528 female and 12 of the third gender. In the 2019 Haryana Assembly elections, Neeraj Sharma of INC won in this constituency beating Nagender Bhadana of BJP by a margin of 3,242 votes which was 02.04% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Nagender Bhadana of INLD was the winner in this seat beating Pandit Shiv Charan Lal Sharma of IND by a margin of 2,914 votes which was 2.04% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Pt Shiv Charan Lal Sharma of IND won this seat defeating Akagar Chand Chaudhry of INC by a margin of 7,875 votes which was 9.39% of the total votes polled for the seat.
