Dushyant Chautala is the leader of the Jannayak Janta Party and former deputy chief minister of Haryana. In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, he won the Hisar parliamentary seat for the Indian National Lok Dal, becoming the youngest-ever MP at 26. Dushyant split from the INLD in 2018 and founded the JJP. He lost the 2019 Lok Sabha polls but won the Uchana Kalan assembly constituency the same year. His party bagged 10 seats and he became the deputy CM in the BJP-led Manohar Lal Khattar government. The BJP-JJP alliance ended in March. Dushyant is again contesting from the Uchana Kalan constituency this time.
