This constituency covers an approximate area of 2,584 square kilometers and the geographic coordinates of Sihawa is: 20°26'03.8"N 81°53'44.9"E.

A total of six Assembly constituencies in the state of Chhattisgarh share borders with Sihawa constituency, which are: Bindranawagarh, Rajim, Kurud, Dhamtari, Kanker, Keshkal. This constituency shares an inter-state border with Nabarangpur district of Odisha.
