Assembly constituency no.27. Mungeli comprises of the following areas of Mungeli district in the North region of Chhattisgarh: I Mungeli Tehsil (Part) – (i) Mungeli R I Circle (Including Mungeli Municipality and Out Growth) and (ii) Jarhagaon R I Circle.

This constituency covers an approximate area of 680 square kilometers and the geographic coordinates of Mungeli is: 22°04'14.9"N 81°42'42.1"E.
