In 2014, Gopal Baraily of SKM was the winner in this seat beating K K Thatal of SDF by a margin of 920 votes which was 8.97% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Neeru Sewa of SDF won this seat defeating Jagdish Cintury of INC by a margin of 1,063 votes which was 13.71% of the total votes polled for the seat.
