In 2014, Hemendra Adhikari of SKM was the winner in this seat beating Bhim Prasad Dhungel of SDF by a margin of 954 votes which was 7.44% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Bhim Prasad Dhungel of SDF won this seat defeating Kedar Nath Sharma of INC by a margin of 1,443 votes which was 13.82% of the total votes polled for the seat.
