In the 2018 Rajasthan Assembly elections, Suresh Singh Rawat of BJP won in this seat defeating Nasim Akhtar Insaf of INC by a margin of 9,389 which was 5.43% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 49.07% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Suresh Singh Rawat of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Naseem Akhtar Insaf of INC by a margin of 41,290 votes which was 27.44% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 59.82% in the seat.
