In the 2018 Rajasthan Assembly elections, C P Joshi of INC won in this seat defeating Mahesh Pratap Singh of BJP by a margin of 16,940 which was 9.77% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 50.99% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Kalyansingh Chouhan of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Devkinandan Gurjar of INC by a margin of 12,472 votes which was 7.76% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 50.68% in the seat.
