In the 2018 Rajasthan Assembly elections, Roopa Ram of BJP won in this seat defeating Jakir Hussain Gesawat of INC by a margin of 1,488 which was 0.8% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 46.9% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Shreeram Bhinchar of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Zakir Husain Gesawat of INC by a margin of 11,778 votes which was 7.37% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 46.49% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Zakir Hussain of INC won this seat beating Shriram of BJP by a margin of 9,755 votes which was 7.71% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 33.93% in the seat.
