In the 2018 Rajasthan Assembly elections, Shanti Kumar Dhariwal of INC won in this seat defeating Prahlad Gunjal of BJP by a margin of 17,945 which was 10.11% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 53.36% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Prahlad Gunjal of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Shanti Kumar Dhariwal of INC by a margin of 14,861 votes which was 9.04% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 48.21% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Shanti Kumar Dhariwal of INC won this seat beating Suman Shringi of BJP by a margin of 21,731 votes which was 17.55% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 55.36% in the seat.
