In the 2018 Rajasthan Assembly elections, Gopal Lal Meena of INC won in this seat defeating Mahendra Pal Meena of BJP by a margin of 21,684 which was 13.4% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 55.09% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Jagdish Narayan of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Shankar Lal of INC by a margin of 31,901 votes which was 23.76% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 47.79% in the seat.
