In the 2018 Rajasthan Assembly elections, Ramlal Sharma of BJP won in this seat defeating Bhagwan Sahai Saini of INC by a margin of 1,288 which was 0.69% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 37.65% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Ramlal Sharma of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Bhagwan Sahay Saini of INC by a margin of 44,473 votes which was 29.07% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 61.14% in the seat.
