In the 2018 Mizoram Assembly elections, C Lalrinsanga of MNF won in this seat defeating Chalrosanga Ralte of INC by a margin of 77 which was 0.65% of the total votes cast for the seat. MNF had a vote share of 34.44% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Chalrosanga Ralte of INC emerged victorious in this seat beating Dr R Lalthangliana of MNF by a margin of 94 votes which was 0.84% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 46.27% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Dr R Lalthangliana of MNF won this seat beating J Lawmzuala of INC by a margin of 723 votes which was 7.1% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 40.84% in the seat.
