Election results
In the 2018 Mizoram Assembly elections, Lawmawma Tochhawng of MNF won in this seat defeating Lalrinpuii of IND by a margin of 72 which was 0.58% of the total votes cast for the seat. MNF had a vote share of 32.91% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Joseph Lalhimpuia of INC emerged victorious in this seat beating Lalrinzuala of MPC by a margin of 1,611 votes which was 14.81% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 49.32% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Joseph Lalhimpuia of INC won this seat beating Samson Zoramthanga of MNF by a margin of 423 votes which was 4.32% of the total votes polled in the constituency. MNF had a vote share of 39.8% in the seat.
