Election results
In the 2018 Mizoram Assembly elections, Lalrintluanga Sailo of MNF won in this seat defeating Lalrobiaka of INC by a margin of 1,657 which was 11.02% of the total votes cast for the seat. MNF had a vote share of 38.84% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Lalrobiaka of INC emerged victorious in this seat beating Liansuama of MNF by a margin of 1,161 votes which was 8.14% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 43.27% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Lalrobiaka of INC won this seat beating Lalrintluanga Sailo of MNF by a margin of 680 votes which was 5.59% of the total votes polled in the constituency. MNF had a vote share of 41.12% in the seat.

Dampa comprises of the following areas of Mamit district in the North region of Mizoram: Villages W Phaileng, Kawnmawi, N Chhippui, lallen, Saithah, Parvatui, Phuldungsei, Keisalam I, Zopui, W Phulpui, Silsuri, Pukzing, Pukzing Vengthar, Hnahva, Hruiduk, marpara North in West Phaileng R D Block; and Villages Tuahzawl, Rulpuihlim, Chungtlang, Reiek, Ailawng, W lungdar, Khawrihnim, lungphun, N Kanghmun, Bawlte, Bawngthah, Darlung and S Sabual in Reiek R D Block.
