Demographic profile

There were a total of 5,03,539 registered voters on the electoral rolls for the 2024 Assembly election in Vadgaol Sheri Assembly constituency, of which 2,59,453 were male, 2,43,984 female and 102 of the third gender. This constituency covers an approximate area of 84.45 square kilometers and the geographic coordinates of Sabalagadh is: 18°35'10.3"N 73°55'16.0"E.

In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Sunil Vijay Tingre of NCP won in this constituency beating Mulik Jagdish Tukaram of BJP by a margin of 4,961 votes which was 02.31% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Jagdish Tukaram Muluk of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Tingare Sunil Vijay of SS by a margin of 5,325 votes which was 2.41% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Bapusaheb Tukaram Pathare of NCP won this seat defeating Bhosale Ajay Jaywant of SS by a margin of 33,116 votes which was 19.77% of the total votes polled for the seat.
