In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Bhonsle Shivendrasinh Abhaysinhraje of BJP won in this constituency beating Deepak Sahebrao Pawar of NCP by a margin of 43,254 votes which was 21.64% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Bhonsle Shivendrasinh Abhaysinh of NCP was the winner in this seat beating Pawar Dipak Sahebrao of BJP by a margin of 47,813 votes which was 25.51% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Bhonsle Shivendrasinh Abhaysinh of NCP won this seat defeating Narendra Mohanrao Patil of BJP by a margin of 1,05,778 votes which was 64.56% of the total votes polled for the seat.
