This constituency covers an approximate area of 1386.91 square kilometers and the geographic coordinates of Sabalagadh is: 20°01'17.8"N 75°27'36.7"E.

In 2014, Bagde Haribhau Kisanrao of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Dr Kalyan Vaijinathrao Kale of INC by a margin of 3,611 votes which was 1.72% of the total votes polled in the constituency.
