In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Kadam Vishwajeet Patangrao of INC won in this constituency beating Nota of NOTA by a margin of 1,49,462 votes which was 72.37% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Dr Kadam Patangrao Shripatrao of INC was the winner in this seat beating Deshmukh Pruthviraj Sayajirao of BJP by a margin of 24,034 votes which was 11.5% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Dr Patangrao Shripatrao Kadam of INC won this seat defeating Deshmukh Prithviraj Sayajirao of IND by a margin of 35,585 votes which was 19.55% of the total votes polled for the seat.
