In 2014, Rana Jagjit Sinha Padma Sinha Patil of NCP was the winner in this seat beating Omprakash Bhupalsinha (Pawanraje) Rajenimbalkar of SS by a margin of 10,806 votes which was 4.99% of the total votes polled in the constituency.
