In 2014, Govind Mukkaji Rathod of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Betmogarekar Patil Hanmantrao Venkatrao of INC by a margin of 73,291 votes which was 41.28% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Patil Hanmanthrao Venketrao of INC won this seat defeating Rathod Govind Makkaji of IND by a margin of 1,216 votes which was 0.76% of the total votes polled for the seat.
