In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Mukta Shailesh Tilak of BJP won in this constituency beating Arvind Shinde of INC by a margin of 28,166 votes which was 18.77% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Bapat Girish Bhalchandra of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Dr Rohit Deepak Tilak of INC by a margin of 42,272 votes which was 24.95% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Girish Bapat of BJP won this seat defeating Dhangekar Ravindra Hemraj of MNS by a margin of 8,162 votes which was 5.24% of the total votes polled for the seat.
