In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Chavan Prithviraj Dajisaheb of INC won in this constituency beating Dr Atulbaba Suresh Bhosale of BJP by a margin of 9,513 votes which was 04.53% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Chavan Prithviraj Dajisaheb of INC was the winner in this seat beating Vilasrao Patil(Kaka) of IND by a margin of 16,418 votes which was 8.11% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Vilasrao Patil (Kaka) of INC won this seat defeating Patil Vilasrao Govind (Watharkar Bapu) of IND by a margin of 14,913 votes which was 8.86% of the total votes polled for the seat.
