In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Shah Faruk Anwar of AIMIM won in this constituency beating Rajwardhan Raghujirao Kadambande (Rajubaba) of IND by a margin of 3,624 votes which was 02.25% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Anil Anna Gote of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Kadambande Rajwardhan Raghujirao of NCP by a margin of 12,928 votes which was 8.28% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Anil Anna Gote of LKSGM won this seat defeating Kadambande Rajvardhan Raghujirao of NCP by a margin of 28,741 votes which was 21.03% of the total votes polled for the seat.
