In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Balwant Baswant Wankhade of INC won in this constituency beating Bundile Ramesh Ganpatrao of BJP by a margin of 30,225 votes which was 15.88% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Ramesh Ganpatrao Bundile of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Balwant Baswant Wankhade of RPI by a margin of 19,582 votes which was 10.71% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Capt Abhijit Anandrao Adsul of SS won this seat defeating Balwant Baswant Wankhade of IND by a margin of 14,658 votes which was 9.75% of the total votes polled for the seat.
