In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Latabai Chandrakant Sonawane of SS won in this constituency beating Jagdishchandra Ramesh Valvi of NCP by a margin of 20,422 votes which was 10.24% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Sonawane Chandrakant Baliram of SS was the winner in this seat beating Patil Madhuri Kishor of NCP by a margin of 11,935 votes which was 6.36% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Jagdishchandra Ramesh Walvi (Jagdishbhau) of NCP won this seat defeating Salunke Dnyaneshwar Pitambar (D P Salunke Sir) of SS by a margin of 14,838 votes which was 9.19% of the total votes polled for the seat.
