This constituency covers an approximate area of 9.13 square kilometers and the geographic coordinates of Sabalagadh is: 19°05'42.0"N 72°53'47.4"E.

In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Dilip Bhausaheb Lande of SS won in this constituency beating Khan Mohd Arif (Naseem) of INC by a margin of 380 votes which was 00.19% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Khan Mohd Arif (Naseem) of INC was the winner in this seat beating Singh Santosh Ramniwas of SS by a margin of 29,469 votes which was 15.92% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Khan Mohd Arif (Naseem) of INC won this seat defeating Shri Dilip Bhausaheb Lande of MNS by a margin of 33,715 votes which was 21.08% of the total votes polled for the seat.
