This constituency covers an approximate area of 605.87 square kilometers and the geographic coordinates of Sabalagadh is: 20°54'00.7"N 77°34'16.7"E.

In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Ravi Rana of IND won in this constituency beating Band Priti Sanjay of SS by a margin of 15,731 votes which was 08.43% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Ravi Rana of IND was the winner in this seat beating Band Sanjay Raosaheb of SS by a margin of 7,419 votes which was 4.13% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Ravi Rana of IND won this seat defeating Sulabha Sanjay Khodke of NCP by a margin of 18,771 votes which was 12.06% of the total votes polled for the seat.
