In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Dr Kiran Yamaji Lahamate of NCP won in this constituency beating Pichad Vaibhav Madhukarrao of BJP by a margin of 57,403 votes which was 32.94% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Pichad Vaibhav Madhukar of NCP was the winner in this seat beating Talpade Madhukar Shankar of SS by a margin of 20,062 votes which was 12.44% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Pichad Madhukar Kashinath of NCP won this seat defeating Talpade Madhukar Shankar of SS by a margin of 9,079 votes which was 6.61% of the total votes polled for the seat.
