In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Govardhan Mangilal Sharma @ Lalaji of BJP won in this constituency beating Sajid Khan Mannan Khan of INC by a margin of 2,369 votes which was 01.40% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Govardhan Mangilal Sharma of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Deshmukh Vijay Pundlikrao of NCP by a margin of 39,953 votes which was 27.91% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Govardhan Mangilalji Sharma of BJP won this seat defeating Khetan Ramakant Umashankar of INC by a margin of 11,910 votes which was 9.49% of the total votes polled for the seat.
