Election results

In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Dr Mohan Yadav of BJP won in this seat defeating Rajendra Vashishtha (Raju Bhaiya) of INC by a margin of 18,960 which was 11.33% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 46.71% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Dr Mohan Yadav of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Jaysingh Darbar of INC by a margin of 9,652 votes which was 6.82% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 51.64% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Shiv Narayan Jagirdar of BJP won this seat beating Jaisingh Darbar of IND by a margin of 12,729 votes which was 12.43% of the total votes polled in the constituency. IND had a vote share of 37.46% in the seat.
