In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Rana Vikram Singh of IND won in this seat defeating Mahendra Singh Parihar of INC by a margin of 27,062 which was 15.03% of the total votes cast for the seat. IND had a vote share of 42.1% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Murlidhar Patidar of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Ambavtiya Vallabh Bhai of INC by a margin of 27,676 votes which was 17.75% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 50.68% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Santosh Joshi of BJP won this seat beating Guddu Baiya Rana Vikramsingh of INC by a margin of 11,935 votes which was 9.17% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 50.87% in the seat.
