In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Adal Singh Kansana of INC won in this seat defeating Ajab Singh Kushwah of BJP by a margin of 13,313 which was 8.35% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 41.07% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Neetu Satyapal Singh of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Ajab Singh Kushwah of BSP by a margin of 14,076 votes which was 9.1% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 39.81% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Adal Singh Kansana of INC won this seat beating Ajab Singh Kushwah of BSP by a margin of 9,651 votes which was 8.02% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BSP had a vote share of 38.63% in the seat.
