In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Divyaraj Singh of BJP won in this seat defeating Dr Aruna Vivek Tiwari of INC by a margin of 13,401 which was 10.56% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 38.95% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Divyaraj Singh of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Dr Vivek Tiwari (Babla) of INC by a margin of 5,288 votes which was 4.52% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 34.19% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Rajkumar Urmaliya of BSP won this seat beating Sriniwas Tiwari of INC by a margin of 309 votes which was 0.35% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 28.99% in the seat.
