In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Gyarsilal Rawat of INC won in this seat defeating Antarsingh Arya of BJP by a margin of 15,878 which was 8.56% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 51.07% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Antarsingh Raoji Arya of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Dayaram Patel of INC by a margin of 25,686 votes which was 15.7% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 54.29% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Antar Singh of BJP won this seat beating Sukhlal of INC by a margin of 12,934 votes which was 11.96% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 50.06% in the seat.
