In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Jitu Patwari of INC won in this seat defeating Madhu Verma of BJP by a margin of 5,703 which was 2.64% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 49.95% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Jitu Patwari of INC emerged victorious in this seat beating Jeetu Jirati of BJP by a margin of 18,559 votes which was 10.93% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 54.1% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Jeetu Jeerati of BJP won this seat beating Jeetu Patwari of INC by a margin of 3,821 votes which was 3.8% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 49.39% in the seat.
