In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Vikram Singh(Vikki) of BJP won in this seat defeating Ramlakhan Singh of BSP by a margin of 15,687 which was 8.77% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 38.46% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Harsh Singh of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Ram Lakhan Singh of BSP by a margin of 24,255 votes which was 15.99% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 47.35% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Ram Lakhan Singh of BSP won this seat beating Harsh Singh of BJP by a margin of 10,718 votes which was 8.85% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 31.09% in the seat.
