In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Suresh Dhakad [Rathkheda] of INC won in this seat defeating Kailash of BSP by a margin of 7,918 which was 4.84% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 37.06% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Prahlad Bharti of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Harivallabh Shukla of INC by a margin of 3,625 votes which was 2.37% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 34.7% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Prahlad Bharti of BJP won this seat beating Hariballabh Shukla of BSP by a margin of 19,390 votes which was 16.98% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BSP had a vote share of 39.59% in the seat.
