In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Thakurdas Nagwanshi of BJP won in this seat defeating Harish Tularam Beman (Mehra) of INC by a margin of 18,130 which was 10.72% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 49.97% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Thakur Das Nagwanshi of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Smt Mamta Manoj Nagotra of INC by a margin of 51,157 votes which was 33.77% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 60.21% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Thakur Das of BJP won this seat beating Tularam Beman Tula Bhaiya of INC by a margin of 22,765 votes which was 22.8% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 51.34% in the seat.
