In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, K P Singh of INC won in this seat defeating Preetam Lodhi of BJP by a margin of 2,675 which was 1.38% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 47.06% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, K P Singh Kakkaju of INC emerged victorious in this seat beating Bhaiya Pritam Lodhi of BJP by a margin of 7,113 votes which was 4.06% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 45.06% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, K P Singh Kakkajoo of INC won this seat beating Bhaiya Sahab Lodhi of BJSH by a margin of 26,835 votes which was 18.95% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJSH had a vote share of 38.9% in the seat.
