In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Maida Valsingh of INC won in this seat defeating Nirmala Dilipsingh Bhuriya of BJP by a margin of 5,000 which was 2.51% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 46.9% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Nirmala Dilipsingh Bhuriya of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Valsingh Maida of INC by a margin of 17,016 votes which was 10.63% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 50.21% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Walsingh Meda of INC won this seat beating Nirmala Bhuriya of BJP by a margin of 8,584 votes which was 7.58% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 39.63% in the seat.
