In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Dr Ashok Marskole of INC won in this seat defeating Rampyare Kulaste of BJP by a margin of 28,315 which was 14.92% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 47.94% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Rampyare Kulaste of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Patiram Pandro of INC by a margin of 10,910 votes which was 6.44% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 38.88% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Rampyare Kulaste of BJP won this seat beating Patiram Pandro of INC by a margin of 3,649 votes which was 2.61% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 32.87% in the seat.
