In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Sukhdev Panse of INC won in this seat defeating Raja Pawar of BJP by a margin of 17,250 which was 10.03% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 51.31% in 2018 in this seat.

In 2013, Chandrashekhar Desmukh of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Sukhdev Panse of INC by a margin of 31,869 votes which was 21.16% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 56% in the seat.

In the 2008 elections, Sukhdeo Panse of INC won this seat beating Chandrashekhar Deshmukh of BJP by a margin of 2,891 votes which was 2.51% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 38.38% in the seat.
