In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Deosingh Saiyam of BJP won in this seat defeating Prof Sanjeev Chhotelal Uikey of INC by a margin of 12,205 which was 6.32% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 46% in 2018 in this seat.
In 2013, Sanjeev Chhote Lal Uikey of INC emerged victorious in this seat beating Sampatiya Uikey of BJP by a margin of 3,827 votes which was 2.21% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 46.3% in the seat.
In the 2008 elections, Dev Singh Saiyam of BJP won this seat beating Sanveev Chhotelal Uike of INC by a margin of 8,943 votes which was 6.39% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 42.81% in the seat.
